Here Is The BIG Problem With All That...

Running 

  1. It shed's lean muscle - Your body adapts to what ever type of exercise you throw at it and with steady state cardio such as running, cycling, cross trainer, etc, it adapts by shedding it's lean muscle down, because that muscle costs more oxygen!

    That's why marathon runners are skinny, lack muscle tone & definition...

    Fat loss is actually triggered by an oxygen demand, so a high demand would be more beneficial!

  2. It causes a stress increase - The stress hormone called "cortisol", increase substantially when we engage in continuous exercise for 45 minutes of more. Cortisol is a hormone that also triggers your body to hold onto body fat and wastes away lean muscle. You may shrink in size, but the wiggles and jiggles will still be there!
  3. It takes up to much time - At the beginning a 3 mile run would be hard work and could take 45 minutes, soon enough your body will adapt and that same run will become easier and shorter.To get the same affects and calorie burn from when you first started, would mean you need to increase your miles, and increasing miles means forever increasing your time.

"Health"meals, diets & detoxes

Health meals - The weight loss industry have really made it hard for the health & fitness industry, because of the uprising of "health foods", They use buzz words, like; high protein, low fat, fat free, low in sugar and so on...

They are create ready meals that are labelled as "healthy", even through they are full of the dangerous chemicals that other ready meals have. just have their logo on them! People are going to fall for it, because these companies are spending £££ in marketing to make you believe that these are the healthiest choice for you.

Diets & Detox's- Every single year their seems to be some new diet or craze that's out!

Low fat diet, low carb diet, keto, atkins, cambridge, caveman, paleo, c9, etc

The problem with diets & detox's;

  1. They always cut out and restrict too many things
  2. They are BORING and bland
  3. Most people only do them for 1 week,, 1 month, 12 weeks, etc

This all means that they have an expiration date and will never lead to long term, sustainable results.... Instead of a diet, you need to undergo a lifestyle change! Putting in place key habits into your lifestyle that will set you up for life.

Going alone, using sheer willpower
